Snowshoeing Title

Enjoy the beauty of the quiet mountains while enjoying the benefits of walking or gliding in the outdoors. Learn to identify animals, and the art of staying warm. Learn the ultimate path to maximum fitness while enjoying the winter months.

Snowshoeing and Nordic skiing are more aerobic then walking, as snowshoes sink slightly into soft powder and cross country ski's glide in tracks. They are graceful and thrilling athletic endeavors. This is an experience and opportunity with only positive results and maximum enjoyment.

Under the leadership of volunteer and parent, Chuck Golden, the program will take new directions this season to plan some interesting and hopefully snowy outings. In the event of a non-snow day, we may elect for a winter hike.
