The spring of of 1991 saw the inception of a new STRIDE endeavor, adaptive baseball. The Twin Town Little League Challenger Division represented two teams the first year, and today hosts four teams with a program that has more than doubled in size. The Challenger Division of Little League was conceived by STRIDE with a handful of kids, and has now grown to be run independently through Little League, hosting 60-80 kids per year. Since the introduction of adaptive baseball to the region, four other programs have added Challenger Divisions to their annual schedules. Games and methods of playing are adapted for each player's special need to meet success.

Games are played on Saturday morning from May through June, with a night game in June. Our games are all played on the Williams Road fields in North Greenbush across from LaSalle Institute. To join the Challenger Little League program, you must register with Little League.
