Rensselaer, N.Y. - U.S. Army Specialist Kevin Miller, Jr. made his way into the ballroom at Michael’s Banquet House, crowded with nearly 400 guests who welcomed him and fourteen other Wounded Warriors home. Less than seven months prior he was in a coma at Walter Reed with a fifteen percent chance of survival after toxic poisoning while deployed to Afghanistan with the 27th Infantry Division, based out of Syracuse, New York.
